Team Yankee World Series – Europe – Milan, May 27th-28th 2023

The competition

• The European Championships will be held on the 27th and 28th of May in Milan, Italy.

• The event will have an army list limit of 100 points. Only “version 2” lists will be accepted (lists that can be created on Team Yankee Forces). No allies allowed.

• Five games over two days. Blue on blue will be avoided for the first round where possible. Competitors from the same nation or the same Italian city will not be paired during the first round.

• We also added a “parallel” FOW tournament, same formula and rules as ETC 2023: 101 points, MID period. The FOW tournament will be on two days, but you can play only one day.

Three games on Saturday, with a final ladder and prizes on Saturday evening; then, the players attending the tournament on Sunday will play using the Swiss pairing system from the Saturday evening, with another ladder and a prizes for Sunday evening. (Note: For the Italian championship, only the Saturday tournament will count).

• Scoring system: You will receive 1 “big” point for the win, and standard Battlefront VP’s will also apply (8-1 / 7-2 / 6-3 etc)

• Entries must be sent before May 8th, 2023, as we will need to finalise numbers for table space and meals.

• To register, you will need to make payment and submit your Forces list before the due date. The entry fee of 50€ includes two lunches at the local pub, as well as the participation fee.
